79 Ornaments Gifted to Seniors
Kris Kringl customers filled a sleigh with 79 ornaments for seniors this past December. The ornaments and hand-written notes were part of an Ornament Drive to help fight loneliness this season as social distancing and isolation continue. Some of the notes included messages such as:
-"A little more sparkle, a little less stress this Christmas. I wish you the very best!"
-"May the spirit of Christmas bring you hope, love & happiness. Merry Christmas!"
-"Sending you holiday cheer despite the year!"
-"Merry Christmas. I hope this ornament brings you joy every year when you hang it up."
-"May the Christmas Season bring all the jingle, jolly, joy to you this year!"
Mountain Meadows Executive Director Nate Oglesby said the delivery of the boxed ornaments and notes to the residents with their Christmas dinner was a real spirit booster.
Thank you to everyone who participated and thank you to The Leavenworth Echo for sharing the captured moment of an overflowing sleigh!
