Our shop is the grand finale of a tour this year for Mr. Fontanini before he returns to Italy and we are so excited to have him in Leavenworth during the Christmastown: Village of Lights Celebration! About Fontanini:
The Fontanini Nativity story began in 1908, when Emanuele Fontanini started crafting nativity figures by hand in a tiny workshop in Bagni di Lucca, Italy. Four generations later, his great-grandchildren are still carrying on the tradition—creating beautifully detailed, hand-painted figures that bring the Christmas story to life. The pieces represent a family legacy of art, faith, and craftsmanship that’s lasted more than a century.
